All Vicinity chat is screened automatically in real time, with reported content reviewed on top. Harmful messages are removed within seconds — not hours.

Your precise location is never shared with anyone. The nearest anyone ever sees is “within 0.1 mile,” so your exact position can't be triangulated — and you can switch distance off entirely, so no one knows how far away you are.
